Eastern Florida State College regularly holds contests and drawings to give current students a chance to win prizes. Explore the list in the accordion below for eligibility requirements, deadlines, how to enter, and more information about each promotion.
EFSC employees or students planning a college-sponsored promotion should review the process and submit a request to add rules to this page. Please note that requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of the promotion.

Eligibility
The Titan Support Center Understanding Credit Workshop Drawing (the "Drawing") is open to currently enrolled Eastern Florida State College students taking at least one class who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees (including student employees) of Eastern Florida State College (the "Sponsor") and other companies associated with the promotion of the Drawing and their respective immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to win.
Drawing Period
The Drawing begins on 03/17/2026 at 01:00 PM ET and ends on 03/18/2026 at 02:00 PM ET (the "Drawing Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Drawing Period will be disqualified.
How to Enter
To enter the Drawing, eligible students should do the following during the Drawing Period:
First Year Experience Students can enter this drawing by attending any of the March Understanding Credit workshops hosted by the Titan Support Center. There are four opportunities to participate - either in-person or online at the Melbourne campus on Tuesday, March 17, 2026; or in-person or online at the Cocoa campus on Wednesday, March 18, 2026. First Year Experience students must sign-in at the event (online sign-in will be available for virtual participants) and will then be entered into the drawing for the prize.
Alternative Method of Entry:
Eligible students may email Lisa Casillas from their Titan student email accounts during the Drawing Period to indicate that they wish to be included in the Drawing.
Each entrant is only eligible to win one (1) prize throughout the duration of the Drawing, regardless of method of entry. Data pertaining to all entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Winner Selection
On 03/19/2026 at 10:00 AM ET, one or more entities working on behalf of the Sponsor will select the potential winner(s) at random from among all eligible entries in the following location: Melbourne Campus, Bldg. 10 Rm. 122. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner(s) via video conference, social media, email, telephone, or in person on or around 03/19/2026. If the potential winner(s) cannot be contacted within five (5) days, the Sponsor may select alternate potential winner(s) from among the remaining eligible entries. Any prize having a total announced value of $5,000 or more must be offered in strict compliance with §849.094, Florida Statutes.

Prize retail value may differ at the time of award. The specifics of the prize(s), which is/are funded by the First Year Experience and Community Credit Union, will be solely determined by the Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution(s) will be permitted, except at the Sponsor's discretion. All prizes are non-transferable and subject to income tax. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation, any and all federal, state, and/or local income taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. Any winner of a prize valued in excess of $600 at the time of award must provide their social security number, EIN, or TIN to Eastern Florida State College and shall receive an IRS Form 1099. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use a winner's name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

To enter, First Year Experience students must reply to the promotion email sent to their Titan email address with the correct answers to the following two questions: 1. What is the movie name of the resort where Dirty Dancing is set? 2. Where is the resort they used for filming actually located? The first five students to respond with the correct answers will each win a pair of tickets to the King Center's Dirty Dancing in Concert show on March 11, 2026 at 7:30pm.

The Women's History Speech Competition (the "Contest") is open to currently enrolled Eastern Florida State College students taking at least one class who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry (or who submit a signed parent/guardian consent and release form). Employees (including student employees) of Eastern Florida State College (the "Sponsor") and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest and their respective immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to win.
Contest Period
The Contest begins on 02/16/2026 at 08:00 AM ET and ends on 03/12/2026 at 05:00 PM ET (the "Contest Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.
How to Enter
To enter the Contest, eligible students should do the following during the Contest Period:
Submit a speech outline through the self-enrolled Canvas Shell by 5 PM on March 9th. After submission, participants are required to prepare a speech presentation lasting between four minutes. The speech should focus on a woman, either from the past or present, who has or is reimagining and rebuilding systems to ensure long-term sustainability- environmental, economic, educational, and societal. It recognizes the powerful leadership of women in creating a future that is rooted in equity, justice, and opportunity for all. Each presentation must include at least one image to complement the speech. Participants can use PowerPoint or similar software to present their visuals. The completed speech and visuals must also be uploaded on Canvas no later than March 11th. The contest will be held on Thursday, March 12 on the Melbourne Campus from 5 to 6:30 PM, participants are required to attend. Each entrant is only eligible to win one (1) prize throughout the duration of the Contest, regardless of method of entry. Data pertaining to all entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

On 02/12/2026 at 06:30 PM ET, one or more entities working on behalf of the Sponsor will select the potential winner(s) in accordance with the judging criteria (Introduction (20 points), Body (20 points), Conclusion (20 points), Delivery (20 points), Timing (10 points), Topic (10 points)) from among all eligible entries in the following location: Melbourne Campus, Bldg. 4 Auditorium. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner(s) via video conference, social media, email, telephone, or in person on or around 03/12/2026. If the potential winner(s) cannot be contacted within five (5) days, the Sponsor may select alternate potential winner(s) from among the remaining eligible entries. Winner Selection
On 04/01/2026 at 08:00 PM ET, one or more entities working on behalf of the Sponsor will select the potential winner(s) in accordance with the judging criteria (Four judges will judge acts with the following criteria: Choice of Selection - Ensure the act can be performed effectively within the space and tech capabilities (10 points). Originality or Interpretation - Creativity, ingenuity, and adaptation (10 points). Presentation and Showmanship - Confidence, poise, and enjoyment are displayed in the talent (20 points). Execution - Skill in performance (30 points). Appropriate Costume/Dress - Costume or Dress should contribute to talent or act (10 points). Audience Reception - Facial expressions, laughter, applause, or response by audience (10 points). Entertainment Value - Overall effect of performance (10 points). Each judge will give the score of 0 to 100 per act for a grand total of 400 possible.
