Eastern Florida State College regularly holds contests and drawings to give current students a chance to win prizes. Explore the list in the accordion below for eligibility requirements, deadlines, how to enter, and more information about each promotion.

EFSC employees or students planning a college-sponsored promotion should review the process and submit a request to add rules to this page. Please note that requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of the promotion.

EFSC CRU Club Easter Egg Hunt
Eligibility

The CRU Club Easter Egg Hunt (the "Contest") is open to currently enrolled Eastern Florida State College students taking at least one class who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry (or who submit a signed parent/guardian consent and release form). Employees (including student employees) of Eastern Florida State College (the "Sponsor") and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest and their respective immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to win.

Contest Period

The Contest begins on 03/31/2026 at 10:00 AM ET and ends on 03/31/2026 at 01:00 PM ET (the "Contest Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.

How to Enter

To enter the Contest, eligible students should do the following during the Contest Period:

Attend the Easter Egg Hunt taking place outside of the Student Union (Bldg. 16) on the Melbourne Campus and locate an egg with a ticket. If students are unable to attend, email Dr. Holly Wendel to enter the drawing.

Each entrant is only eligible to win one (1) prize throughout the duration of the Contest, regardless of method of entry. Data pertaining to all entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Winner Selection

On 03/31/2026 at 12:15 PM ET, one or more entities working on behalf of the Sponsor will select the potential winner(s) in accordance with the judging criteria (N/A) from among all eligible entries in the following location: Melbourne Campus, Bldg. 16 Quad/Patio. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner(s) via video conference, social media, email, telephone, or in person on or around 04/01/2026. If the potential winner(s) cannot be contacted within five (5) days, the Sponsor may select alternate potential winner(s) from among the remaining eligible entries. Any prize having a total announced value of $5,000 or more must be offered in strict compliance with §849.094, Florida Statutes.

Each eligible winner will receive one prize from among the following:

Interested persons must submit their original artwork to the Titusville Campus Library front desk (Bldg.  5) during normal operating hours, Mondays through Thursdays, between 8 AM and 5 PM before the Tuesday, April 20, 2025 deadline. This annual art show is open to all EFSC students, faculty, staff, and Brevard County Residents.

Children's Artwork - please mount all artwork onto a foam, matte, or poster board prior to dropping it off. Artwork must not exceed ten pounds in weight.

Adult Artwork - all artwork must be display-ready. For two-dimensional pieces ensure that it is framed, wired or matted. Artwork must not exceed ten pounds in weight.

Categories/Mediums - drawings, paintings, sculptures, photography, mixed media, and digital art.

Any art created partially or entirely with AI will not be accepted.

Each entrant is only eligible to win one (1) prize throughout the duration of the Contest, regardless of method of entry. Data pertaining to all entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

On 04/22/2026 at 08:00 PM ET, one or more entities working on behalf of the Sponsor will select the potential winner(s) in accordance with the judging criteria (Five student judges are chosen from the audience. Their names are picked at random from a jar. After each participant performs. Each judge awards a score from 1-10 with 10 being the highest. The scores for the judges are then added together for a total. At the end of the competition, the participant with the highest total wins first place, then second, third, etc. Judges look for content and poetic elements as well as delivery, projection, and enthusiasm.) from among all eligible entries in the following location: Palm Bay Campus, Bldg. 1, Palm Bay Auditorium Rm. 107G. The Women's History Speech Competition (the "Contest") is open to currently enrolled Eastern Florida State College students taking at least one class who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry (or who submit a signed parent/guardian consent and release form). Submit a speech outline through the self-enrolled Canvas Shell by 5 PM on March 9th. After submission, participants are required to prepare a speech presentation lasting between four minutes. The speech should focus on a woman, either from the past or present, who has or is reimagining and rebuilding systems to ensure long-term sustainability- environmental, economic, educational, and societal. It recognizes the powerful leadership of women in creating a future that is rooted in equity, justice, and opportunity for all. Each presentation must include at least one image to complement the speech. Participants can use PowerPoint or similar software to present their visuals. The completed speech and visuals must also be uploaded on Canvas no later than March 11th. The contest will be held on Thursday, March 12 on the Melbourne Campus from 5 to 6:30 PM, participants are required to attend.
