EFSC Campus Bookstores

The EFSC Bookstore is your one-stop shop for new, used, rental, and electronic textbooks, as well as college supplies, clothing, graduation regalia, and gifts.

Important Location Details and Course Material Information

  • EFSC Bookstores are open on the Cocoa, Melbourne and Palm Bay Campuses, with added walk-in hours at the beginning and end of the term to facilitate textbook pick-up and rental returns. There is no bookstore on the Titusville Campus. If you need books for a Titusville Campus course, those materials are carried at the Cocoa store and also online.

  • IMPORTANT TEXTBOOK PURCHASE PROGRAMS UPDATE: EFSC students are part of the Titan First Day Ready course materials affordability program. Students for all courses included in the program will be automatically opted in to the new program, which supplies all required materials for all credit-hour courses before the first day of class. A charge of $25 per credit hour covers physical and digital required materials, which can be picked up or shipped, unless students opt out of the program. Be sure to visit the Titan First Day Ready page for full details before purchasing any course materials.

  • Textbooks (new, used, or rental) and other course materials can be ordered online at the same price as the merchandise available in-store, with an approximate turnaround time of two days. Be sure to have your course schedule on hand, as you will need course numbers to find the correct books. You will be using the "Find Course Materials" page in our online store and selecting the Campus where the course takes place or online for Eastern Florida Online classes. Please Note: If your credit-hour course is part of the Titan First Day Ready program, the Bookstore has put systems in place on its website so that when searching for course materials there, a web notice will alert you the course materials are covered by that and advise you not to purchase the book from another source.

  • If you are enrolled in credit-hour courses, you will receive an important email from the Bookstore about 30 days before classes start as part of the Titan First Day Ready program. That email will include details on how to confirm your course materials and set up the pick-up or delivery.

  • All orders over $75 will receive free ground shipping. You can choose to pick up your online order(s) in-store at the campus where the course takes place or have the order shipped to your home. If you have classes on multiple campuses, you can order all your books in one online order, and all the items will ship to your home with no shipping charge if the total order meets that $75 minimum.

  • Online order pick-up will be available at the Cocoa, Melbourne and Palm Bay campuses (check the Locations and Hours box on this page for more detailed information, and remember Titusville books can be picked up at the Cocoa store). To pick up an order, you will need either your confirmation email or a valid picture ID.

Additional Bookstore Information

Required Course Materials List

At least 45 days prior to the first day of class, EFSC posts a list of the materials required for each course offered during the upcoming term. This is in compliance with Florida Statute 1004.085.

The list includes the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) or other identifying information for each required textbook, as well as the title, all listed authors and publishers, the edition number, the copyright date, and the date of publication.

Please Note: If your course is part of the new Titan First Day Ready program, the Bookstore is putting systems in place on its website so that when searching for course materials there, a web notice will alert you the course materials are covered by that and advise you not to purchase the book from another source.

Payment Methods

All EFSC Bookstore locations and the online store accept the following forms of payment:

  • Credit Cards: Mastercard/Visa/Discover/American Express
  • Barnes & Noble Gift Cards
  • Student Financial Aid - Book Vouchers (for select items; "Student Financial Aid" is also available as a payment choice online )
Cash for Books

The EFSC Bookstore buys back used textbooks every day, and this buy-back process is available online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The best time to sell back used books is when final exams begin. The Bookstore will pay you up to 50% of the book’s selling price if professors have assigned it for the next term and if the Bookstore is not overstocked. If the book does not meet these criteria, its buy-back price is determined by the current national demand.

Study guides and workbooks must be in like-new condition, without any writing on the pages. All other books must be in good condition. Some books have little or no monetary value; one-time use, out-of-print books, and old editions are not in national demand and will not be purchased. A valid student ID is required to process all buy-back transactions.
