Borrowing Materials from EFSC Campuses
When you use the search engine known as Mango One Search to find materials from EFSC, you can place a hold on the item and select any campus library for pickup. Library staff will contact you when the item arrives.
- Requests are filled as soon as possible
- Materials requested from another EFSC campus usually arrive within two to three working days
- EFSC overdue fines are 25 cents per day per item; the maximum fine is $10 if the item is returned in good condition within 120 days of the due date
- If borrowed materials are damaged or lost, it is the patron's responsibility to pay replacement costs and processing fees
Borrowing Materials from Other Libraries in Florida
Two options exist to request materials from other libraries. When you use Mango One Search to find materials, the search expands to include the holdings of academic libraries across Florida. If you do not find what you are looking for locally, you can select the blue UBorrow icon to link to them in the union catalog.
To request materials, select the UBorrow icon under the item record and select a pick-up location. Log into your library account. You will be contacted by library staff when the material arrives.
The loan period for UBorrow items is 45 days from the time the item arrives on campus, and you may request one 30-day renewal. UBorrow renewals are placed exactly like EFSC item renewals - through the Renewals/Library Account link in Mango.
Renewals must be placed before the due date, and you will receive an email notification with the new due date or request denial. UBorrow books should be returned to the pickup campus. To learn more, visit the UBorrow FAQs page.
Borrowing Materials from Libraries Outside Florida
Please visit the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) web page for details on a second option if the materials you need are not available from EFSC libraries or other Florida academic libraries.
