Eastern Florida State College regularly holds contests and drawings to give current students a chance to win prizes. Explore the list in the accordion below for eligibility requirements, deadlines, how to enter, and more information about each promotion.
EFSC employees or students planning a college-sponsored promotion should review the process and submit a request to add rules to this page. Please note that requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of the promotion.

Eligibility
The EFSC's Got Talent (the "Contest") is open to currently enrolled Eastern Florida State College students taking at least one class who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry (or who submit a signed parent/guardian consent and release form). Employees (including student employees) of Eastern Florida State College (the "Sponsor") and other companies associated with the promotion of the Contest and their respective immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to win.
Contest Period
The Contest begins on 12/01/2025 at 12:00 PM ET and ends on 03/31/2026 at 06:00 PM ET (the "Contest Period"). Entries that are submitted before or after the Contest Period will be disqualified.
How to Enter
To enter the Contest, eligible students should do the following during the Contest Period:

Winner Selection
On 04/01/2026 at 08:00 PM ET, one or more entities working on behalf of the Sponsor will select the potential winner(s) in accordance with the judging criteria (Four judges will judge acts with the following criteria: Choice of Selection - Ensure the act can be performed effectively within the space and tech capabilities (10 points). Originality or Interpretation - Creativity, ingenuity, and adaptation (10 points). Presentation and Showmanship - Confidence, poise, and enjoyment are displayed in the talent (20 points). Execution - Skill in performance (30 points). Appropriate Costume/Dress - Costume or Dress should contribute to talent or act (10 points). Audience Reception - Facial expressions, laughter, applause, or response by audience (10 points). Entertainment Value - Overall effect of performance (10 points). Each judge will give the score of 0 to 100 per act for a grand total of 400 possible. The act with the highest points will win 1st place, then next highest 2nd place, then the next 3rd place.) from among all eligible entries in the following location: Palm Bay Campus, Bldg. 1 Rm. 107G, Auditorium. The odds of being selected depend on the number of entries received. The Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winner(s) via video conference, social media, email, telephone, or in person on or around 04/01/2026. If the potential winner(s) cannot be contacted within five (5) days, the Sponsor may select alternate potential winner(s) from among the remaining eligible entries. First Year Experience students can enter this promotion by responding to the Jimmy
Buffet Tribute ticket promotion email sent to their Titan email address on 1/29/26.
Students must reply to the email with an original caption for the emailed image of
Jimmy Buffet. The two best entries will each win a pair of tickets to see A1A: The
official & Original Jimmy Buffet Tribute on February 7, 2026 at 8 PM at the King Center.
Please keep all submissions appropriate for all audiences to enjoy. Inappropriate

The two highest overall average scores will win. How to Enter
To enter the Drawing, eligible participants should:
Obtain tickets from a member of the EFSC Foundation staff or an appointed volunteer. No purchase is necessary to enter or win; however, a minimum donation of $5 per ticket, or three (3) tickets for $10, or seven (7) tickets for $20 is recommended.
Tickets should then be placed in the box in front of the basket that you'd like to win. Attendees are eligible to win more than one basket, at random.
Alternative Method of Entry:
Eligible participants (BBQ attendees over the age of eighteen) may request one (1) free drawing entry ticket per household from an EFSC Foundation staff member or appointed volunteer during the drawing period.

Sign up through the RSVP system in EFSC's digital calendar. Be sure to include your two partner’s name in the registrant comments section. At this time, the Office of Student Life is unable to assist in team formation. Digital sign-ups close on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11:59 PM, but day-of sign-ups will still be eligible to play based on space availability.
Students can also sign up online by emailing the Melbourne Campus Office of Student Life.
All participants must fill out EFSC’s liability waiver form (PDF) before competing. Students under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the form. Waivers will also be available at the event for signing.
New to beach volleyball? Games are played on a sand court in teams of two. Points
are scored when the opposing team fails to return the ball, commits a fault, or hits
the ball out of bounds. Matches will be played to 15 points, with teams needing to
