January 30, 2019

Eastern Florida State College will highlight its new Associate in Science Degree in Culinary Management at a special event on Wednesday, February 6.

The event will be held at the EFSC Cocoa Campus in the Bldg. 11 Student Café from 12 – 2 p.m. as part of the Campus Black History Month Celebration, featuring comedian Dorian Gayle and a special dessert tasting.

The Cocoa Campus is located at 1519 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, FL 32922.

Applications are being accepted through February 28 for the new culinary program, which features hands-on classes that prepare students for careers in the fast-growing food services field. Classes begin on March 4.

The event is free. Participants will get to sample student-created desserts, meet the program manager, speak to an advisor, explore the classroom and gain assistance applying to EFSC.
