Eastern Florida State College employees and applicants may have certain protections under Federal and State law as well as College policy. This page contains information to help you understand your rights and responsibilities as they relate to employment laws, regulations, and requirements. EFSC is required to provide certain state and federal labor law postings online and in college workplaces where other workplace and employment notices are posted.

Federal Labor Laws
Employee Polygraph Protection
The Employee Polygraph Protection Act prohibits most private employers from using lie
detector tests either for pre-employment screening or during the course of employment.
Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
