EMT/Paramedic Programs Accepting Applicants

The Public Safety Institute at Eastern Florida State College is recruiting for its upcoming Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and Paramedic Programs.
The deadline for applications is July 1, 2015. Accepted student intake is scheduled for July 13 and is by invitation only.
EMT classes begin on August 18 and run for 16 weeks. Paramedic courses also begin on August 18, 2015 with students scheduled to graduate in August 2016.
The EMT program is designed to prepare students for entry level positions in emergency medical and first responder public safety services.
Paramedic Program graduates will be eligible to test for the State of Florida Paramedic
certification that enables them to work with the highest pre-hospital emergency medical
service certification available as well as continue their education if they wish to
earn an Associate in Science Degree in Emergency Medical Services.
