Live Eastern Florida Titans Games Coming to WEFS-TV

August 24, 2014

Eastern Florida State College’s athletic programs are moving into the spotlight this fall with 15 Titans games broadcast live on WEFS-TV.

The games will also be webcast on the college’s NJCAA web channel at www.njcaatv.com/efsc/ giving viewers a front row seat to some of the strongest Division 1 NJCAA teams in the nation.

“The broadcasts are an exciting way for fans to see our student-athletes in action and showcase our growing college and its facilities,” said college President Dr. Jim Richey.

“We have nationally-ranked teams, excellent coaches and All-American players. We invite everyone to tune-in and join us in supporting the Titans.”

A total of six soccer matches featuring Eastern Florida’s nationally ranked women’s and men’s teams – three apiece - will be broadcast.

Other teams featured include the two-time defending conference champion men’s basketball team, women’s basketball team, women’s volleyball team, women’s tennis team and men’s baseball team.

“It’s a great line-up that gives viewers a chance to see outstanding players and rivalries,” said Jeff Carr, the college’s Associate Vice President for Athletics and women’s head soccer coach.

“The broadcasts are another big step forward for our programs, and our players and coaches can’t wait to get on the field and show what they’ve got.”

All the games will be played at the Eastern Florida athletic complex on its Melbourne campus. The games are free and open to students, faculty, staff and the public.
