The Spring Term 2025 Disability Awareness Week events have concluded. We hope you enjoyed thinking outside the box with us and feel inspired to help create a more conneceted world! Be sure to check out EFSC's SAIL Department, which organized this event and supports students with accommodation needs.

Throughout the week, we offered a variety of engaging activities and educational events. These initiatives aimed to foster understanding, challenge stereotypes, and encourage a more connected campus community. Our program included community resources, a thought-provoking panel discussion, and inspiring guest speaker presentations, all focused on promoting disability awareness and advocating for accessibility.

The Accessibility Difference

Justin Miller, who was born with cerebral palsy, counted on the SAIL team to help him earn his A.A. degree and then his bachelor's.

At EFSC's Fall 2022 Commencement Ceremony, Justin rose out of his wheelchair to walk across the stage unassisted as he received his Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems Technology with a specialization in Cybersecurity.
