Fitness & Recreation at EFSC
EFSC offers physical fitness and recreation facilities, with hours and entry requirements
varying by location. These facilities are designed to help you stay fit and maintain
that healthy body, healthy mind connection, plus also make time to relax and relieve
stress.

Indoor Recreation Area
Location: Building 11, First Floor
This area is for EFSC students ONLY and you may be asked to show your ID.
Hours
Monday - Thursday: 8 AM to 7 PM for all current EFSC students

EFSC Fred Gay Golf Academy and Driving Range

Open seven days a week from 9 AM to 5:15 PM
Please note: The closing time is the "last sale" time, and golfers must be off the
range 30 minutes after the closing time.
The Academy Driving Range hosts a year-round Junior Hour every Saturday at noon, free of charge and open to all area youth.
Located close to EFSC's Cocoa Campus, the range comprises 13 acres in west Cocoa. The facility includes a public tee 100 yards long by 12 yards wide, a 6,500-square-foot putting green, two shortgame areas with a practice bunker, a full-size classroom for college students, and a team room for members of the EFSC men's and women's golf teams.
The golf academy was named for businessman Fred Gay in 2008, who was a longtime supporter of the college's athletic programs.

Location: Bldg. 6, Rm. 111 (Gymnasium)
Hours
Monday - Wednesday: 8 AM to 7 PM
Thursday: 8 AM to 4 PM
Closed Fridays, weekends and holidays.
Proper gym attire with closed-toe shoes is required. You will also need to show an
EFSC student or faculty ID.
The Student and Faculty Weight Room contains three treadmills, an elliptical trainer,
a Spin Bike, a Smith machine, two free weight power racks, a cable crossover machine,
a leg press machine, and nine weight machines. The weight machines include machine
row, leg extensions, leg curls, pulldown machine, chest press, bicep curls, and tricep
pushdowns. Additionally, there are dumbbells ranging from five pounds to 80 pounds
(in five-pound increments), a dip station, and an abdominal bench.
Please come by the gym during operating hours, and a weight room attendant will give you a tour or assist you in operating any of the machines.

Indoor Recreation Building
Location: Building 12; Small building east of Residence Halls
This area is for EFSC students ONLY and you may be asked to show your ID.
Hours
Daily: 8 AM to 10 PM for all current EFSC students; 24/7 access for EFSC Residence Hall students

Outdoor Recreation Area
Location: South-end of campus; between the Residence Halls & Bldg. 12
This area is for EFSC students ONLY and you may be asked to show your ID.
Hours
Daily: 8 AM to 10 PM
- Pickleball, half-basketball and beach volleyball courts
- Limit play to one hour if others are waiting.
- Bring your own equipment and wear proper attire.
- Students must follow the rules posted on signs at each court.
Titan Tennis Center
Location: Melbourne Campus, Northwest Corner off Post Road
Hours
Open seven days a week from 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM
Use of the courts is free for current EFSC students, faculty, and staff, with paid memberships available for the public, including discounted rates for EFSC alumni. Visit the Tennis Center website for more information.
