Go Higher workshops make it easy to start your journey at Eastern Florida State College — right from your high school!

What to Bring

  • Students need a valid personal email address.
  • Students (and parents) should come prepared with their social security number to fill out these forms.
  • Students completing the EFSC admissions application should expect to pay $30 unless they qualify for a fee waiver (see below).

Paying the EFSC Application Fee

  • The $30 application fee can be paid in-person with cash, check, or credit card (online). Please make all checks payable to Eastern Florida State College.
  • The application fee can be waived for students receiving free, or reduced, lunch with verification from a school counselor. In addition, students who attend CEP eligible schools (Cocoa, Eau Gallie, and Palm Bay High Schools) and attend the event will also be waived.
  • If a payment is not received within 30 days of applying online, the application will be dropped from the system.
  • Students who previously took dual enrollment courses at EFSC will not have to pay an application fee if a re-admit application is submitted.

Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • The EFSC Financial Aid team will be on-site to assist seniors (and parents) with the FAFSA.
  • It is strongly recommended Students (and parents) establish their FSA ID in advance to sign the FAFSA electronically.
  • Students planning to attend college in Fall 2026 will need to complete the FAFSA for the 2026-27 aid year. If Summer 2026 is their preferred start date, they will need to complete the 2025-26 as well.

Applying for Scholarships

  • The Titan Scholarships application system provides students with access to a wide range of scholarship opportunities supported by the EFSC Foundation. Staff will be available onsite during the Go Higher event to assist students with navigating the application process and ensuring they understand how to apply. The application period runs from March to May for Fall semester awards.
  • Every student who attends a Go Higher event will be considered for a scholarship of up to $1,000 from the EFSC Foundation to help cover any unmet financial need. Please inquire for additional details.
