Office Support Certificate - Admissions Information
If you're interested in the Office Support CCC, you can apply through Eastern Florida's general admissions process. The program allows for ongoing enrollment, so you can apply and start classes in any term. The program does not require any placement testing or have general education requirements, but we do recommend that you have above-average grades in high school English because of the emphasis on business communication.
If you've completed or are currently taking eligible Brevard Public Schools business courses at your high school, you may be eligible to receive advanced standing credit toward your certificate. Plus, if you hold certain industry certifications, you may be eligible for free college credit through an articulation agreement.
If either the high school credit or industry certification options apply to you, you could save both time and money, so be sure to contact the program advisor for individualized guidance.
Brief Costs and Financial Aid Eligibility
If you're an in-state student, the tuition for this certificate is around $1,250. However, please note that this amount doesn't cover additional expenses like lab fees and course materials.
While Federal financial aid isn't available for this program due to its short length, there are other options to consider. You may be eligible for support through Florida Bright Futures Scholarships, Florida Prepaid, or the Nelnet Payment Plan. Additionally, qualifying students can apply for Veterans Educational Benefits, Titan Scholarships provided by the EFSC Foundation, or scholarships offered by external organizations. These additional funding sources can help make your education even more affordable.
