Estimated Expenses

To help reduce costs, we encourage all Correctional Officer Academy students to consider obtaining a sponsorship. When you secure a sponsorship, a correctional agency such as the Brevard County Sheriff's Office may hire you prior to starting the academy and they'll also cover the cost of your tuition, lab fees, and uniforms.

While sponsorships are not guranteed, they're available to applicants who meet the hiring criteria of the employing agency. Students may also self-sponsor and pay their own costs.

Because this shorter-length program is NOT eligible for Federal financial aid, please review information about other funding options you can explore.
