Career Exploration and Assessment

Start your career planning with a self-assessment of your interests and skills to help match you with potential career choices. If you're a current student, completing an assessment before you plan your EFSC schedule can ensure you'll take courses that help you achieve your goals — but don't worry! This service is open to alumni, too!

The MyPlan Assessment is designed to help you plan a more fulfilling life by making well-informed decisions about your education and career. The assessment is independent and unbiased, providing the truth about colleges, careers, and majors. It includes an interest inventory, a skills profiler, and a personality test, plus information about top careers, jobs, and industries (including a salary calculator).

EFSC offers students and alumni free lifetime access to all MyPlan career planning services, which are available in person at all EFSC Career Centers.
