Technology Use & Approval

All software, learning platforms, applications, and programs must be reviewed and approved through EFSC’s Educational Technology Accessibility Committee (ETAC) prior to purchase or use.

EFSC Employee Applications menu with EMTS highlightedFaculty must submit a request form for any new software or material that has not previously been reviewed and approved, as outlined in the Academic Affairs Committee (AAC) Handbook. Requests are submitted through the Educational Materials Tracking System (EMTS), which can be found in the Employee Applications dropdown menu of your myEFSC homepage once logged in as illustrated in the screen shot.

Please Note: Faculty must work with the vendor to complete all requested information, including a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT). The VPAT is a document that summarizes the overall accessibility of a program, based on Section 508 requirements, and designates a plan to address any accessibility issues.
