Road Project Impact
City of Palm Bay managed road improvements continue to impact travel routes to the Palm Bay Campus. Treeland Blvd. and Community College Pkwy. will be stripped down to a dirt road, rebuilt with blacktop, and restriped during the hours of 7 AM to 6 PM.
During construction, roads/alternative routes will be available to local traffic, which includes EFSC students and employees.
Construction Dates & Locations
Please use caution near campus and plan your travels accordingly.
• Starting July 10: Pavement construction will begin on Community College Pkwy. To allow for traffic needs, this project has been broken into two phases.
- Phase One: Treeland Blvd. to Babcock St.
- Phase Two: Treeland Blvd. toward San Filippo Dr.
General Project Information
- Despite the appearance of dirt roads during construction, there will be drivable surfaces to utilize.
- "Road Closed” signs will be posted.
- "Local Traffic Only" signs will be posted; EFSC students, employees and others associated with the college are considered local traffic.
- Landscaping improvements on Community College Pkwy are also in the works. Invasive plants and overgrown trees will be removed/maintained as necessary to improve visibility.
- Roadwork on San Filippo Dr. and Interstate Ct. is planned for primarily during the evening.
