If you're a Brevard Public Schools student who recently completed specific Technical Design or Drafting courses at a BPS high school with a grade of C or higher, and you declare Computer-Aided Drafting and Design as your major at EFSC, you may also be able to save time and money by receiving college credit for the work you've already done.

Teaches the skills required for successful operation of computer-aided drafting (CAD) hardware and software.
Focuses on the principles, concepts, and use of complex tools in the field of architecture, structural systems, and construction trades.
Explores how to use Inventor to create mechanical part models, sketch and constrain feature profiles, and assemble parts for correct functional presentation.
Tackles Civil Engineering projects including laying out property lines, creating contoured maps, developing roadway alignments and profiles, and creating cut/fill diagrams.
