Do you want to be your own boss? Eastern Florida's Business Entrepreneurship College Credit Certificate introduces the knowledge and skill sets entrepreneurs and business owners need to succeed in today's technologically-connected modern economy.
This program can be completed in as little as one semester, and serves students who want to apply the credits toward the related associate degree as well as those ready to put their skills to work right away. The 12-credit program is also a popular option for students in EFSC's Organizational Management Bachelor of Applied Science degree who need to complete technical course electives as part of their bachelor program of study.

Business Entrepreneurship Certificate Admissions Information
Prospective students can apply for the Business Entrepreneurship Certificate program via Eastern Florida's standard enrollment process. This program features rolling admissions, so students can apply or begin any term. Because the program is only 12 credits, it does not require any placement testing for acceptance and there are no general education courses required. Brief Costs & Financial Aid Eligibility
In-state tuition for this program is approximately $1,250, plus any lab fees and textbooks. While this program is not eligible for federal financial aid due to its short program length, students can use Florida Bright Futures Scholarships, Florida Prepaid, or the Nelnet Payment Plan toward the tuition and can also apply for Veterans Educational Benefits, Titan Scholarships funded by the EFSC Foundation and scholarships awarded by outside organizations.

The certificate's four required courses build real-world skills for those interested in owning their own business.
An introduction to the theories, methods, knowledge, and skills required of entrepreneurs. Coursework elucidates the life cycle of an entrepreneurial venture.
An exploration of the opportunities and challenges faced by small business owners, including business plans, marketing, resource management, and more.
Introduces selling concepts like sales management and principles, buying motives, customer approach, sales techniques, and the buying-selling cycle.

Upon completion of this program, students can choose to put what they've learned to use in the workforce immediately, pursue another related College Credit Certificate program, or use the credits earned to continue on toward obtaining an associate or bachelor's degree at Eastern Florida State College.
