As an independent public television station, WEFS-TV enjoys a widespread viewership encompassing Central Florida.

Our commitment transcends conventional entertainment, as we actively participate in producing programs that directly address pressing issues within our community. Additionally, we furnish valuable information about local resources, aiding in the fulfillment of critical needs.

Our overarching mission centers on being a cornerstone community resource, empowering individuals to explore their world, expand their horizons, and actively shape the future.

During times of crisis, WEFS-TV also plays a vital role in providing critical weather, safety, and evacuation information, with a particular focus on severe weather events like hurricanes.

We are an integral component of the Florida Public Media Stations network, working closely in collaboration with the Florida Public Radio Emergency Network (FPREN), which plays a pivotal role in delivering essential information to the people of Florida during statewide emergencies, including essential details about evacuation routes.
