EFSC Students Named to Florida College System All-Academic Team

More than 100 Eastern Florida State College students have been named to the Florida College System’s 2023 All-Academic Team for academic excellence.

This year's All-Academic Team consisted of a record number of 1,207 students throughout the 28-member Florida College System (FCS) that includes Eastern Florida State College.

Each college within the FCS nominates students based on performance in co-curricular activities including grade point average, community service, and on-campus leadership.

"Each of these students have excelled both in the classroom and their extracurricular activities and represent the best and brightest here at Eastern Florida," said college President Dr. Jim Richey.

"This high honor recognizes their achievement, and we are extremely proud of each of them."

Honorees include:

  • Student Government: Annjeannette Mitchell, Kiara Talley and Madison Ward
  • Theatre: Aya Aseid, Geovana DeOliveira Martins, David Kearns, Graham Makowski, Kenneth Messer, Patrick Miller, Samantha Miller, Phoebe Parker, Cullen Sanders and Tiffany Satcher
  • Baseball: Steven Abreu, Grayson Adams, Brady Guthrie, Jacob Hardy, Brady Linkel, Brady Strelitz, Ryne Wallace and Gavin Zieglar
  • Softball: Ava Bassani, Kaitlyn Egenes, Mackenzie Fore, Samantha Formosa, Ariana Gonzalez, Trinity Howard, Rachel Lamoureaux, Katherine Lipphardt, Abigayle Smith, Gracie Snell, Mandy Taylor and Kathryn Wisor
  • Men's Basketball: Owen Silva-Brito, Caleb Byrd, Brogdan Cret, Augustin Kingobe, Eric Parnel, Oliver Pasque and Matija Zuzic
  • Women's Basketball: Elli Garnett, Madlena Gerke, Hanna Mebius-Svensson, Lor Mputu, Martina Narro, Rosa Redondo and Shadaria Smith
  • Men’s Golf: Murphy Allard, Robert Greninger, Pontus Torgner and Adam Vermut
  • Women's Golf: Gracie Doke, Gabrielle Fernandez, Savannah Hawthorne, Sarah Knitter and Jasmine Yang
  • Men's Tennis: Enric Bertolin, Hugo Car, Jack Dixon, Lucas Gonzalez, Jett Leong and Eric Tripathi
  • Women's Tennis: Gloria Baracaro, Helena Jokanovic, Simona Karlsson, Hantziz Krupnlakova, Paige Nobel- Lucas, Luisa Renovales Salazar and Emma Sanchez
  • Volleyball: Rachele Braccio, Paulina Dobreva, Sofia Knowles, Jaremia Maldonado Rodriguez, Rylie Patrick, Gaia Riedmuller and Mariana Saba
