Students to Present Black History Month Play

The Eastern Florida State College Titans Theatre Club will present "Twilight: Los Angeles, 1992" by actress and playwright Anna Deavere Smith on Tuesday, February 27 at the EFSC Cocoa Campus in the Simpkins Fine Arts Center (Bldg. 4) in the Studio Theatre.

The Cocoa Campus is located at 1519 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, 32922.

Performances are open to the public and scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Admission is free.

The play consists of a series of monologues based on interviews with real people connected directly and indirectly to the 1992 Los Angeles riots, which took place following the acquittal of police officers initially charged with excessive force in the videotaped beating of Rodney King.

Produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., the play includes adult themes and language.
