EFSC Faculty Art Exhibit to Open at King Center

Mr Red EFSC Faculty artworkEastern Florida State College Faculty artwork will be exhibited at the King Center for the Performing Arts in the Harris Corporation Lobby Gallery from Sept. 26 through Oct. 30.

A public reception will be held Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 6 to 7 p.m.

This year’s exhibition features works by Georgi Gelalles, Bobbie McMillan, Dustin Robertson, Lynn Spencer and Joanna White. Works in sculpture, installation, ceramics and painting will be featured.

McMillan SculptureLike last year, artists will again include preparatory sketches, studio images and in-progress photos of the finished works, providing students “an educational opportunity” to see how process and practice are applied at the professional level.

The exhibit is also open for viewing to ticketed patrons attending main stage performances.

Additional public viewing opportunities are October 3, 5, 11, 13, 17, 19, 24 and 26 from 11a.m. to
2 p.m.
