Concert to Feature Musical Journey from Baroque to Modern Era

The Eastern Florida State College Wind Ensemble will present “From Preludes to Polkas” at 7:30 PM on Friday, May 8.

The concert will be held in the Bernard W. Simpkins Fine Arts Center (Bldg. 4) on the Cocoa Campus, located at 1519 Clearlake Road.

Under the direction of conductor, James Bishop, the wind ensemble will present "Italian Polka" by Rachmaninoff, "Prelude and Fugue in F Minor" by Bright, "Variants on a Medieval Tune" by Dello Joio, "Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring" by Bach and "Contre Qui Rose" by Lauridsen.

The concert takes patrons from Baroque to the Modern era.

General admission is $6. Tickets will be available at the door.
