Cocoa Campus Host Site for 2012 Chick-Fil-A LEADERCAST

The Brevard Community College Cocoa Campus is the site of this year’s Chick-Fil-A LEADERCAST, scheduled for Friday, May 10 in the Bernard Simpkins Fine Arts Center, 1519 Clearlake Road.

This simulcast event is a collaborative effort of the Brevard Community College Foundation, Brevard County Government and LEAD Brevard. The LEADERCAST will he held from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Tickets for the general public are $60 per person and include a Chick-Fil-A lunch. Discounts are available for BCC students, alumni, faculty and staff, as well as for LEAD Brevard members and Brevard County employees. Additionally, CLE credits are available for nurses and SHRM professionals.

The event will be broadcast live from Atlanta, GA and offers participants a unique opportunity to hear from some of the top business leaders in the world on the choices they made, how those choices define them as leaders, and how leading in a complex world requires simplicity.

This year’s “Leaders” include: former Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, discussing “Leading in a Complex World;” Mike Kryzewski, Head Men’s basketball coach for Duke University and Team USA, presenting “Simply Leading to Victory;” Sanya Richards-Ross, 2012 Olympic gold medalist in track and field, speaking about “Focus Amidst Distractions;” Jack Welch, former Chairman & CEO of General Electric, presenting “Necessary Endings;” and many more.
