National Motivational Speaker a Highlight of Black History Month at BCC

The Brevard Community College Melbourne Campus will host national speaker, Jullien Gordon, on Monday, Feb. 18, one of more than 50 events planned in celebration of Black History Month at BCC.

Gordon will speak on Monday, Feb. 18 from 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the Building 4 Auditorium at the Melbourne Campus, located at 3865 North Wickham Road.

Gordon will present D.R.E.A.M. Awake, an interactive presentation that celebrates the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and teaches participants how to achieve personal goals such as “Desired Relationships, Employment and Money.” The event is open to the public and attendance is free.

Jullien Gordon is the author of books such as "The Innerviewer" and "101 Things to do Before You Graduate." He has addressed more than 10,000 students on over 50 college campuses, nationwide, sharing how to “use college as a four-year stepping stone for a 40 year career.”

BCC offers more than 100 two-year degree and certificate programs and will start offering four-year bachelor degrees in Fall Term 2013 after becoming Eastern Florida State College on July 1.
