Help for Special Needs Children Focus of BCC Workshops

October 30, 2012 - The Brevard Community College Lab School will offer special workshops for parents and teachers of special needs children on Tuesdays, Nov. 13, 20, 27 and Dec. 4 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on the BCC Melbourne Campus, Building 7, Room 114.

Topics include strategies for helping the learning disabled child make adjustments in the classroom; the secrets to “turning on the tuned out child,” and helping children with learning disabilities find social success.

The cost is $40 and includes four classes. Child care is available for $6 per child, per night, and is available with advanced registration.
