A Respiratory Therapist acts, serves and responds to any and all emergencies involving every type of patient, regardless of location within the hospital. A Respiratory Therapist performs routine airway and pulmonary procedures in a compassionate manner which alleviates patient stress related to or caused by respiratory insults.
