Medical Assistant Program Open House Planned at EFSC

Eastern Florida State College will host an Open House for its Medical Assistant Specialist certificate program on Wednesday, October 22 from 4 – 7 p.m. on its Cocoa Campus, located at 1519 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, FL 32922. The event will be held in Bldg. 17, Rooms 216 & 227.
This in-person event will provide the chance to network with faculty, advisors, and current students to learn more about a career in this exciting healthcare field.
Medical assistant students master clinical skills, including taking vital signs and medical histories, non-intravenous injections, phlebotomy procedures, diagnostic testing, surgical techniques and assisting, and pharmaceutical principles and administration of medication.
Attendees will also be assisted in applying for the Spring 2026 term.
