Emergency Medical Technician Program Accepting 2025 Applications

BREVARD COUNTY, FL - The Public Safety Institute at Eastern Florida State College is recruiting for its upcoming Emergency Medical Technician program.

The deadline for applications is March 9, 2025. A mandatory Intake Meeting, which is part of the admissions process, is scheduled for March 25 and is by invitation only after students have applied.

Classes begin on May 19, 2025 and run for 12 weeks through the summer.

All prospective students must complete the online application for admission to Eastern Florida State College and the separate online application to the Public Safety Institute.

The program is designed to train individuals for entry-level positions in emergency medical and first responder services. Graduates can also gain certification that will allow them to continue their education into fire service or paramedics.
