EFSC Foundation Needs Help to Reach Scholarship Goal

December 14, 2016 - The Eastern Florida State College Foundation is nearing its fundraising goal in a new student scholarship campaign and is asking for the community’s help to put them over the top.

Titan Fund Annual FundThe “Come Grow with Us” campaign has raised $35,000 toward its $50,000 goal with contributions supporting the Titan Fund to help students pay for their education.

Last year, the EFSC Foundation provided scholarships to 466 students but 2,500 applied, showing the importance of the Titan Fund effort.

“Every dollar helps so your gift of $20, $200, $2,000 or more is an investment in education and an investment in your community,” said Foundation Director Jennie Kriete.

“As Winston Churchill said, ‘We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.’ ”
