EFSC Celebrating Fall Term 2017 with Back to Campus Events

August 2, 2017 - The Office of Student Life on each campus will hold several celebratory events during the month of August to welcome new and returning students to Eastern Florida State College. 

These "back to campus" events are taking on an exciting new format compared to past years, and will kick off August 14 — the first day of classes for Fall Term 2017. Each event will provide students with the opportunity to connect with student resources while enjoying plenty of fun, music and free food.

Check below for the date, time and location of each event on your campus.

Club Rush

Club Rush will be held on August 28-29, 2017 for the Melbourne and Titusville campuses, and on August 30-31, 2017 for the Cocoa and Palm Bay campuses.

Students interested in getting involved with an extracurricular organization at EFSC will be able to visit club tables and "get the scoop" on each campus' active clubs — all while enjoying free ice cream.

The Office of Student Life will also be on hand to assist students interested in starting a new club.

Noon - 3 PM, Pavilion, Monday & Tuesday, Aug. 28-29

Melbourne Campus

10 AM - 1 PM, Melissa Prevatt Pavilion, Monday & Tuesday, Aug. 28-29

Noon - 3 PM, Bldg. 11 Student Cafe, Wednesday & Thursday, Aug. 30-31

Welcome Week

Students are invited to get the new term started right with a free edible treat each day during the first week of classes (August 14-17, 2017), plus the opportunity to connect with SGA leaders and learn more about what's in store for the 2017-18 academic year.

Campus Kickstart

Students are encourage to let off some steam and "get in gear this term" at this one-day celebration on each campus, which will help ensure they have all the resources needed for a successful semester.

Each event will feature live DJs, free food, balloon twisting, a photo booth and more, plus the chance to network with campus departments and other students.
