EFSC's IT team was able to restore network access this evening following an outage caused by a technical issue that began shortly before 3 PM. Ransomware and Online Scams Virtual Forum Planned

Cybersecurity Awareness Month Virtual Form text with black backgroundOctober 4, 2021 - In support of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Eastern Florida State College and Palm Beach State College have partnered to provide a virtual forum on The State of Ransomware and Online Scams.

The online event is slated for Friday, October 15 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It is free, open to the public, and aims to educate participants about cybersecurity.

Industry insiders sharing their expertise include Tony Balzanto, Verizon’s Manager of Digital Forensics and Cyber investigations and Miguel Castellanos, FBI Special Agent.

Students from EFSC and PBSC will also make Cybersecurity presentations.

A question and answer session will follow the presentations.
