Landman Selected for Another Term as EFSC Trustees Chair

August 14, 2019 - Alan Landman, who has played a key role in the growth of Eastern Florida State College, was selected Monday for another term as chair of the college’s Board of Trustees.

Alan LandmanThe move came in a unanimous vote by the Board, which also renamed Ronald Howse as Vice-Chair.

“It’s an honor to continue helping lead the college and, along with my fellow trustees, give students ever more options for a great education and excellent careers,“ said Landman.

College President Dr. Jim Richey called Landman a driving force in transforming the college where more than 60 new programs, including 24 Bachelor Degree tracks, have started in recent years.

“Alan’s support for our new initiatives has been essential in the success of the college and our students. I’m fortunate to serve under him and the other Board members,” said Richey.

Along with Landman and Howse, the Board consists of trustees Moses L. Harvin, Sr., Bruce Deardoff and Dr. Edgar Figueroa.

Landman, a Melbourne attorney, has served on the Board since 2009 and previously held the chairmanship several times.
