Golf Tournament Concludes Foundation Fundraiser

December 12, 2014 -  Eastern Florida State College’s Foundation concluded its inaugural Scholarship Golf Invitational and Rockin’ Ball Drop on Friday with a golf tournament at Suntree Country Club. One hundred 44 golfers participated.

Foundation Fundraiser Golf Tournament

First place in the tournament went to the foursome of Bob Jones, Rob Parrett, Ed Lamb and Doug Helfrich.

The team of Ken Dawson, Cheryl Dawson, Mike O’Grady and Dennis Brady was second.

Samir Patel, Drew Kramer, Chris Nillis and Gerry Connell were third.

Mitchell Drinkwater had the day’s longest drive on the fourth hole.

The tournament was presented by Sunrise Bank.

On Thursday night a drop of numbered golf balls from a Brevard County Sheriff’s Office helicopter took place on EFSC’s Melbourne Campus soccer field and followed a concert by the Pat Travers Band.
