8:30 PM Update: All systems are back online, including student access to the Canvas Learning Management System. EFSC's IT team was able to restore network access this evening following an outage caused by a technical issue that began shortly before 3 PM. Students who had deadlines in Canvas that were impacted by the outage should reach out to their instructors. Thank you for your patience as technical systems were restored to operational status.

Scholarship Recipient Carlo Canales

Carlo Canales"I am going to be thankful forever for the scholarship programs there are in the United States.

"Receiving financial help as a father of four has been a blessing. I wanted to show my children the importance of attending college and perusing a career early in life as well as how difficult it could be if you waited.

"Supporting a family and attending college at the same time — it’s a challenge and requires a major sacrifice, especially in your pocket. The scholarships provided to me help with the financial challenge.

"My daughter decided to go to college and she is starting her degree in Biomedical Engineering at FIT this coming fall.

"I graduated from the Eastern Florida State College Aerospace Technology program Spring 2015 — a task that was possible thanks to the financial help I received. Now, I am applying to many companies and I’m sure the sacrifice will be worth it!

"Thank you, to every single person who believed in me enough to pay my way to a better me."
