2022 Backyard BBQ Cook-Off & Family Fest

Back after not being held for two years due to the COVID pandemic, the April 9, 2022 6th Annual Backyard BBQ Cook-Off and Family Fest raised more than $100,000 for Eastern Florida State College student scholarships. 2021 Scholarship Golf Tournament

A record 34 teams competed in the 7th Annual Golf Classic held on October 30, 2021 at the Rockledge Country Club. Read more details about the winning team and the sponsors who made the event a big success in support of EFSC student scholarships.

Several thousand people packed the Melbourne Campus for the 2019 Backyard BBQ on Saturday, February 23, 2019! Thank you to all who attended, sponsored and competed - and congratulations to the winners:

2018 Backyard BBQ Cook-Off & Family Fest

The EFSC Foundation 2nd Annual Backyard BBQ Cook-Off held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 was a huge success on the Eastern Florida State College Melbourne Campus. Thank you to signature sponsors Boniface Hiers and  AM-KO and brew sponsor Intracoastal Brewing Company. All proceeds benefit Eastern Florida State College student scholarships. 2017 Backyard BBQ Cook-Off & Family Fest

Thank you to all of the cooks and barbecue aficionados who came out to support the EFSC Athletic Booster Club at the Alumni Association’s Backyard BBQ Cook-Off & Family Fest on Saturday, March 11, 2017. The event was a great success and featured bluegrass music by the Penny Creek Band, a kid’s zone and, of course, lots of delicious homemade barbecue! Congratulations again to the winning teams:

EFSC Alumni Meetup at Pizza Gallery and Grill

On January 19, alumni met and took advantage of special alumni happy hour deals at Pizza Gallery and Grill at The Avenue Viera. The event coincided with The Avenue's monthly "Thirsty 3rd Thursday" event in Central Park, complete with live music by the Fickle Souls, complimentary bites and free drinks. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us!

Fall 2016 Graduation Flower Bouquet Fundraiser & Alumni Photo Booth

Families and friends celebrated their graduates at EFSC's Fall Term 2016 Commencement on December 15 with special bouquets from Bloomin' Basket Florist. 100% of the profits from the flowers went to the EFSC Alumni Association. Graduates who signed up for the Alumni Association that day also had a chance to step inside a fun photo booth for a free graduation day photo. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Come Grow With Us Reception & Jazz Concert

This November 2016 free reception at the King Center featured hors d'oeuvres prepared by EFSC Culinary students plus an update on the College's growth plans from EFSC President Dr. Jim Richey, followed by the free EFSC Jazz Ensemble concert. Thank you for your support.
