The Future is Bright at Eastern Florida
As the college prepares to celebrate its 60th diamond anniversary in 2020, there is no mistaking that the future is bright at Eastern Florida State College. An education is the most precious gift you can offer and the key to building our dynamic local economy.
Do you remember your first college class, professor, athletic game or club? We will
take a walk down memory lane to illustrate the importance of this College since 1960.
We are kicking off our celebration with several lofty goals in mind — starting with
raising $60,000 to provide more scholarships.
Last year we awarded 722 scholarships totaling $723,000. This is wonderful news, but
nearly 50% of our student population qualifies for some financial assistance. Our
goal is to remove the financial obstacles that could interrupt a student’s education.
Together we can reach more students through the Titan Fund, a permanent endowment to support scholarships and college initiatives now and in
the future.
Thank you to all of our donors who've helped support this important scholarship initiative and there's still time to give.
Our long-term plan is to build the Titan Fund into a $1 million endowment. Since launching the campaign in 2016, we have raised nearly $200,000. Donations of any size will help strengthen the Titan Fund endowment and increase our giving power. We need your help so students can build bright futures and become the strong workforce for our community.
