First Semester Success Starts in the Summer

Students on the Beach

Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, all 2020 Summer Kick Start workshops have been canceled.

Incoming freshmen can still get tips to jump start their college career by browsing our Splash of the Titans blog, plus reviewing our First Time in College brochure and making a virtual appointment with your advisor.

Each summer, we offer a series of workshops to help incoming freshmen get ready for their first year of college.

Topics get you ready to build a course schedule, navigate online student services systems and the financial aid process, plus help you be prepared with great study habits, time management skills and organizational skills.

Check back in Spring 2021 for information about our next round of Summer Kick Start workshops. Haven’t applied to the College yet? Fill out the online EFSC application, or contact the Student Recruitment team at recruiting@easternflorida.edu for assistance.
