Welcome to EFSC's Student Learning Outcomes

Each Eastern Florida State College program involves assessment of student learning based on multiple learning outcomes. These outcome statements clearly express the anticipated skills, knowledge and competencies students are expected to develop throughout their program of study.

Five Core Abilities that represent the key areas of learning at EFSC are at the heart of our General Education - Associate in Arts (A.A.) program — and these Core Abilities are closely associated to all our degree and credit programs. Each of these Core Abilities has discipline-specific learning outcomes mapped upward to the Florida DOE State Frameworks and downward to the course outcomes. For questions about EFSC's Learning Outcomes, contact Kimberly Greene by email at or by phone at 321-433-7727.
