We love our campuses
Eastern Florida State College’s Maintenance department is devoted to maintaining four campuses consisting of 1.8 million square feet of building space and 525 acres. Our services are accessed through the online work order system in the right column.
The department is dedicated to implementing routine and preventive maintenance programs that enhance equipment life and improves its operational efficiency and effectiveness.
The College’s Maintenance Team ensures that the campuses operate safely, effectively and efficiently allowing them to be used to their fullest capability.

Electrical
Lighting/lamp replacement, upkeep of electrical systems, reset and maintenance of fire alarms and elevators, perform minor electrical renovations and panel repairs
General Maintenance
Flooring repairs, general repairs, minor painting, furniture moves and setups and event support
Grounds
Lawn and shrub care, maintenance of roads and parking lots, upkeep of drainage systems and retention ponds, maintenance of College landscape and hardscape, athletic fields and irrigation systems
Energy Management and HVAC
Temperature control, equipment scheduling, repair and energy management
Locksmith
Maintains key inventory, door and lock repairs, makes and issues keys
Plumbing
Maintenance and repair of all plumbing fixtures and devices such as lift stations, water, sewer and gas lines; drains, urinals, commodes, water fountains, leaking faucets and backflow prevention devices
Roofing
Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on more than 1 million square feet of roof area
Fleet Maintenance
Maintain and service approximately 53 vehicles; along with 200 motorized pieces of equipment used for grounds, golf carts and 17 emergency generators
Central Receiving
Responsible for receipt and delivery of UPS, Fedex, U.S. Postal Service and interoffice mail
