EFSC’s Studio Art courses are focused on providing solid skills and knowledge to prepare the freshman/sophomore student for more advanced study.  Encompassing both 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional media, studio art course offerings include: Ceramics, Drawing 1 & 2, Painting, 2- and 3-D Design, Printmaking, and Sculpture. Completion of studio art courses provides proficiency in technique, materials, theory, and vocabulary — with a strong emphasis placed on critique and dialog. Exhibition opportunities are available for students to explore professional presentation of work.  Studio art courses are taught on the Melbourne and Cocoa campuses.

EFSC’s Graphics Technology program prepares students to effectively convey messages in print, electronic and film media using a variety of methods such as color, type, illustration, photography, animation and various print and layout techniques.  Software tools used in the Graphics classrooms include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Flash,  Adobe After Effects as well as QuarkXPress and Lightwave 3D. Graphics Technology courses are taught  primarily on the Melbourne Campus with some courses taught on the Cocoa Campus.

EFSC’s Digital Television/Digital Media Production program prepares students to write, shoot and edit digital videos; to handle camera, lighting and audio requirements and real-time multiple camera directing for live events; and to design and create web pages to distribute their work.  Students have access to television studio equipment at WEFSC, located on the Cocoa campus. Photography concepts are taught using both film and digital camera equipment. Digital TV/Digital Media program courses are taught primarily on the Cocoa Campus with some courses taught on the Melbourne Campus.
