Demonstrate your expertise
Important COVID-19 Impact Note: Due to the pandemic, remote certification testing options are available plus on-campus
testing sessions are available at the Cocoa Campus Assessment Center, by appointment only. Links to more information about the remote testing, done from your home using a virtual
proctor, are available inside the accordion below. To schedule a remote test or to
inquire about an on-campus certification testing appointment, EFSC students and the
general public should contact Stacey Headley at 321-433-5562 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or
email@example.com. She will coordinate getting your test voucher and assist with scheduling the test.
If an on-campus test is schedule, EFSC safety protocols require that all test candidates must wear a mask or other facial covering inside Campus buildings and throughout all test administrations. No locker space will be provided, so testers should not bring personal items such as wallets, hats and cell phones to the testing centers. Only a photo ID and car keys should be brought to the Assessment Center as all necessary testing supplies are provided.
Industry certifications have become an important part of the workforce. People who have earned certification have demonstrated they have specific knowledge in technical areas. Employers are seeking individuals with skill sets that will help their organization compete locally and globally. Certifications can also lead to college credit at EFSC, a cost savings made possible through articulated credit agreements.
Eastern Florida State College is an approved testing site for industry certifications offered by multiple organizations outlined in the accordion below. EFSC is an academic partner for most testing vendors and receives discounted voucher pricing in those cases. Priority for testing appointments is given to EFSC students and alumni. Individuals who are not current students or alumni are able to test at EFSC's testing site for an additional $75 EFSC test administration fee.
If you're part of an EFSC-sponsored boot camp or refresher course, the industry certification testing specialist will contact you about test registration at the appropriate time. For everyone else, contact industry certification specialist Stacey Headley at 321-433-5562 or firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a voucher and schedule a remote testing appointment.
