Navigate a networking systems career

The Networking Systems Bachelor's of Applied Science Degree specialization at Eastern Florida State College prepares students to evaluate a company’s needs for network usage, then plan, design, and implement systems to meet the requirements — including the ability to update current systems and oversee the development of new ones.

Potential career positions after graduation include Computer Network Architect, Network Administrator and Computer Support Specialist. Students will demonstrate an understanding of fundamental hardware and software architecture of computing systems, including computer processing units, memory requirements, input/output devices, operating systems and application software.

To meet the needs of all students, classes are offered in flexible formats to include day, evening, online and and blended courses that are part classroom and part online. The degree is also Financial Aid eligible.

Students are admitted to the program in the Spring, Summer and Fall Terms following the general Bachelor's Degree online application process.

An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree does not meet the minimum eligibility requirement for entry into this program. AAS degree holders who intend to transfer into the BAS program should consult with an academic advisor to review coursework and determine the best transfer options.
