Robert Edwards
edwardsrob@easternflorida.edu
I am a retired newspaper reporter and public information officer with a degree in
English and History. I have found that good writing is the result of clear thinking
and having a plan. That way you are in control and avoid being intimidated by the
task of writing. Using language in its written form is hands-on, like manipulating
a wrench, whisk or steering wheel. Good writing gets the job done, and sometimes it
soars.
Subjects: I researched, interviewed and wrote for a living for 40 years, covering all kinds
of topics -- politics and government, agriculture and transportation, crime and punishment,
sports, religion and the arts. I have helped put together visual presentations. In
retirement, I have done a bit of freelance writing. I love to read and learn. I can
offer guidance on any writing assignment.
