Last Day to Register For:
• Community Involvement (SOW 2054), Thursday, August 25, 2016

• Human Service Experience (SOW 1051, 1052, 1053) and Service-Learning Field Studies I (4th/5th Credit Option), Thursday, October 20, 2016

• Last Day to Turn in Placement Confirmation in Regular Classes: Thursday, October 20, 2016

Field Studies 4th/5th Credit Options Courses:  Thursday, October 20, 2016

Community Service-Learning Hour Report (SHOAT) Timesheets Due: Thursday, December 1, 2016

• Citizen Scholar Candidates Graduating Spring 2017: Please notify the Service-Learning & Civic Engagement Office of your intent to graduate as soon as possible. All remaining requirements must be submitted to the S-L office one month before graduation.

*Please note that some instructors may have earlier deadlines than those listed above. Students must follow the instructor's deadlines.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

• Student Service-Learners must do the requisite number of service hours for each service-learning option, or service-learning course. For example:

Psychology 20 hours
Service-Learning Field Studies 20 hours
Community Involvement 32 hours
  72 TOTAL hours

Seventy-two hours of community service are required to meet all three commitments.

• Although faculty, CSL set minimum service hour requirements, community partners have their own requirements (please check with CSL staff or community contact).

• Orientation/training hours/club meetings are not counted for service hour requirements.

Seminar Dates for Field Studies for 4th/5th Credit Options Courses

Students registered for Field Studies 4th/5th Credit Options Courses are required to attend a reflection seminar presented by the Center for Service-Learning & Civic Engagement. Students may attend a seminar on date or campus that fits their schedule.
