Tropical Storm Erika Updates
August 27, 2015 - EFSC Emergency Management is actively monitoring Tropical Storm Erika with updates posted to the college website as needed.
Saturday, August 29, 4:30 PM: The EFSC Emergency Management Team has announced that at this time the college is
expected to be open on Monday with no interruption to college activities.
While it appears the remnants of Tropical Storm Erika will not be a direct threat to Brevard County, you are asked to continue to monitor her progress and be prepared to take any necessary actions for you and your family should conditions worsen.
Additional updates will be posted to the website as needed.
Thursday, Aug. 27, 4 PM Update: Please be aware that the Eastern Florida State College Emergency Management Team is closely monitoring the progress of Tropical Storm Erika.
While we currently remain hopeful that there will be little impact to Brevard County and anticipate no interruption to college activities, we will continue to be vigilant in monitoring the storm so that we are prepared to take any necessary actions to ensure the safety of students, faculty and staff.
Please maintain awareness of Tropical Storm Erika and make the necessary preparations for you and your family.
We will provide updates using the college website, keeping everyone up to date until the storm is no longer a threat to Brevard County.
