Unique Mix of Short Plays Coming to Simpkins Stage
October 7, 2015 - The Performing and Visual Arts Department at Eastern Florida State College in collaboration with the Titans Theatre Club will present "Take Ten: An Evening of Ten Minute Plays" on Oct. 16, 17 and 18 in the Simpkins Fine Arts Center Studio Theater on the Cocoa campus.
The Friday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Oct. 17 performances will take place at 7 p.m., with the Sunday, Oct. 18 performance at 2 p.m.
The plays are a mix of comedies and dramas and are presented by students as their
“midterm extravaganza,” showcasing their talents to the public. The plays may contain
mature themes and adult language and are intended for older high school students and
adults.
Two of the plays, "Playwriting 101" and "Bottle Baby," will also be presented at the State College Ten Minute Play Festival in November at the Florida Theatre Conference.
General admission tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the door or online at easternflorida.edu/go/arts
