EFSC Offers Information Session on Medical Assistant Program
September 15, 2015 - Eastern Florida State College will host a public information session for individuals interested in learning about the Medical Assistant Program on Thursday, October 15 on the Cocoa Campus.
The session will be held in Bldg. 17, Room 216 from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
The Cocoa Campus is located at 1519 Clearlake Road.
Medical assistants perform a wide range of clinical functions, including patient assessment and preparation, medication administration and healthcare office management.
Eastern Florida offers a one-year certificate option or two-year associate’s degree track, with both options leading to careers in a variety of healthcare settings, including physician offices, hospitals, laboratories and long-term care facilities.
Health Science Advisors will be available to answer questions and assist with the application and entrance requirements.
