King Center's 25th Anniversary Offers Great Opportunity

June 13, 2012 - Celebrating its 25th Anniversary, The Maxwell C. King Center for the Performing Arts has planned a number of great events and fundraisers that begin June 13 at Noon with a 25th Anniversary Raffle. 

Purchase one raffle ticket at $25 and earn a chance to win two orchestra seating tickets to every show at the King Center in 2013. Imagine that - enjoy every performance knowing that guaranteed seats to some of the biggest shows in town are already booked. In the case of multiple performances of a production, the raffle winner will have the choice of two tickets to one of those performances. 

This blockbuster year of entertainment will include unforgettable performances of Rock of Ages, The Boston Pops Orchestra presents The Barbara Streisand Songbook with Keith Lockhart and Ann Hampton Callaway, Lord of the Dance and The Temptations and the Four Tops just to name a few.

"We are excited about this opportunity to offer residents of our community the chance to win King Center tickets for a suggested donation of $25. This is one of a series of fundraisers that will celebrate the legacy of our wonderful facility and raise support for our outstanding programs," said Steve Janicki, Executive Director of the King Center.

Raffle Tickets go on sale on June 13th at noon and are limited to 2500 tickets. They can be purchased at www.kingcenter.com or by calling the King Center ticket office at 321-242-2219.

The drawing will be held on December 22, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. before the King Center's performance of A Christmas Carol.
