BCC to Host Space & Astronomy Lecture

January 26, 2012, Brevard County, FL:  Brevard Community College will host a free space and astronomy lecture entitled "Kepler Mission: Discovering New Planets," and a "Star Party" on Friday, February 10 beginning at 7PM at the BCC Planetarium, 1519 Clearlake Road, Cocoa. 
The keynote speaker is Dr. Matt A. Wood. Wood teaches physics and astronomy at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne. He is an internationally known scientist working in the field of cataclysmic variable and binary stars.
